New Delhi: In a statement issued by the Central Government in the recent past, it said that it will complete vaccination of the country's adult population by the end of this year by imposing about 10 million vaccines every day from July-August. However, the target of one crore vaccines in a day does not seem to be met even in the next month i.e. In fact, in July, the Central Government has promised 12 crore doses of anti-corona vaccine to states and the Union Territories.

100 million doses of Covishield will be on this list and 2 crore doses will be of the Covaxin. Out of 12 crore doses of vaccine, 75% will be sent to central lying states and Union Territories and 25% will be given to private hospitals under the new vaccine policy. The week from 21st June to 27th June is considered the best for India in terms of vaccination as an average of 60 lakh vaccines have been detected every day. On the other hand, experts say that vaccination is expected to slow down next month. Because, on average, 40 lakh doses will be given in the country every day at the rate of 12 crore vaccines.

You must be aware that 10.6 crore doses have been administered within the country this month i.e. June last Sunday i.e. 27th June and only this week 4.2 crore doses have been given in the country. At present, two vaccines, Covishield, and Covaxin are being administered in the country. Russia's anti-corona vaccine Sputnik V was also approved for emergency use in India on April 13 and is now available in some private hospitals.
