New Delhi: The Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in Parliament is presenting the Union Budget 2017 which is the third budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government. At around 2:30 PM, E. Ahamed the MP from Kerala and the National President of the Indian Union Muslim League died in Hospital due to which there was the doubt that the budget will be introduced today or not.

This time with the Union Budget, Railway Budget is also presented. In 93 years, for the first time this is happening and with it, for the first time, the Budget is presenting on February 1 instead of 28 or 29 February.

Steps to make Pension Payment Easy for Ex-Servicemen :

1. For Defence Expenditure excluding Pension : 2,74,114 crore.

2. Defence Capital Expenditure Budget : 88,000 crore.

3. Comprehensive Web Based system for pension to Veterans.
