Post his graduation in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California, Samarth joined his family businesses - India’s premiere Jadau Jewellery brand, Krsala™, and real estate company, Shiv Shakti Constructions, which has been a part of the industry since the 1960s. However, it was clear in his mind that he would strike out on his own and pursue ventures that are aligned with his vision and values. He identified a growing gap in real estate as the Indian economy grew with aspirations growing even faster. He floated Trojan Realty at the age of 25 which only focused on premium boutique projects boasting of state of the art design and infrastructure. At the age of 30, he founded India’s first Bollywood-based Indoor experience museum, House of Stars™, with license partners like Dharma Productions, Fox films, Mukta Arts, and Zee Music to name a few.

After growing and automating these businesses, he was seeking his next entrepreneurial challenge when he came across the gaps in the arene of design education in India. India had a huge demand for design talent but the number the traditional system churned out was way inadequate. He realized the answer lay outside the traditional system and co-founded The Designer’s Class™first-of-its-kind fits kind digital education platform focusing on different verticals of design, where prominent designers themselves create and delivervideo course modules. The courses are designed with high-quality global content curated by academic thinkers in pre-recorded format coupled with engaging workbooks, demos, and quizzes. Recently they partnered with Gauri Khan for a foundational course in interior design. The video module is focused on getting design aspirants started in the journey to land millions of job opportunities in the field.Student-centric program, hands-on teaching mechanism, and custom-designed program by industry-leading designers &professionals, together are what arefuelling the sharp growth the venture has witnessed since its launch. The icing on the cake and a unique first is that those taking the courses from The Designer’s Classcan land internship opportunities with the leading designers & professionals delivering the courses as well. In short, The Designer’s Class is a true education disruptor, revolutionizing design education and giving equal opportunity to all, regardless of age, income, or location.

“We’ve created a platform that has relevance beyond India. Our courses have currently been purchased by subscribers in the US, UK, GCC, Africa, and Australia among other regions. Be it students studying in K-12 schools, aspiring to go to a design school, already in design schools, young adults working in design-based industries, or homemakers with a passion and curiosity for design, we cater to everyone. Our aim is to provide high-quality design education and empower people in the remotest locations by giving them the same experiences and opportunities as urban students, said Samarth Bajaj.

“Uncommon thinkers reuse, what common thinkers refuse’, this quote from JRD Ratan Tata is one of Samarth’s favourite and he follows it to the extent he can across his ventures. Every entrepreneur comes with a set of core values that’s goes a long way while building the brand and the overall organization thereupon. For Samarth, it has authenticity and innovation. Across all his five ventures in areas as diverse as jewellery, real estate, indoor entertainment, and e-learning, these are the values that one can see reflected. With hispassion to success, an instinct to dive into an opportunity at the opportune time, Samarth the serial entrepreneur is surely and well on his way to creating value and wealth.
