Through your online investor services portal Nice Plus, you can complain online against stockbrokers or trading members in case of fraud.

In order to file a complaint, you will first have to register with Nice Plus after giving details like your Permanent Account Number (PAN), Name, Contact Number and Permanent Address. You can then file your complaint in the prescribed format on behalf of the exchange along with the documents.

Complaints generally related to non-issuance of documents, receipt of funds / securities, non-receipt of margin / security deposit given to the trading member (TM), non-receipt of corporate profits (dividends /) by the trading member, interest / Bonuses etc.), execution of trades without consent, additional brokerage charge (other than option premium) etc. complaints are looked into by NSE. Complaints against listed companies can also be filed in select cases of corporate action and transfer of securities. Complaints on NSE, whether online or offline, are resolved within 15 days.
