Stocks trade low today, TATA and Automobile faces depression

Today at the Bombay Stock exchange the stocks of the automobile were facing a selling pressure. The Auto index in the BSE fell 1.2 per cent. The companies that suffered are: Cummins India, Ashok Leyland, Tata Motors, Hero MotoCorp, Motherson Sumi, Eicher Motors, Baharat Forge, Mahindra & Mahindra and Bajaj Auto.

Where the regular market of stocks is also facing a fall down, Sensex fell 104 points to 27,732. Nifty suffered no good and also came down to 8,570 falling 45 points.

Also the shares of the conglomerate company TATA are falling to fast. After the dismissal of Ex- Chairperson, Cyrus Mistry, the companies of the Tata Sons Group are trading low in the market.

In another development, stock exchanges BSE and NSE have asked six listed Tata companies - Tata Motors, Tata Steel, Indian Hotels, Tata Teleservices, Tata Communications and Tata Power - for a clarification, after Mr Mistry wrote to Tata Sons board members warning that the group faces a writedown of about $18 billion on many of these companies.
