New Delhi, [India] May 18 (NT): With bundle of happiness the Supreme Court's order on directing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to conduct a floor test tomorrow at 4 PM, Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Friday asserted that it supports their stand against Governor Vajubhai R. Vala's unconstitutional invitation to form Government.

Rahul Gandhi took his Twitter handle and said that the BJP's bluff to form the government without the majority numbers has been called out by the top court.

"Today's Supreme Court order vindicates our stand that Governor Vala acted unconstitutionally. The BJP's bluff that it will form the Govt., even without the numbers, has been called out by the court. Stopped legally, they will now try money & muscle, to steal the mandate," Rahul Gandhi tweeted.

Senior Congress leader, Ghulam Nabi Azad also expressed his joy to the top court's historic move.

Earlier in the day, the Top Court in his order said that a floor test be conducted on Saturday at 4 pm for BJP to prove his majority in the state assembly.

The order was taken after the Supreme Court heard the arguments against the petition filed by the Congress and Janata Dal (Secular) following Governor Vala's invitation to the BJP to form the government in the state.
