New Delhi: The low pressure area in the Bay of Bengal will soon take the form of cyclone 'Jawad' . The East Coast Railway  has directed to cancel the operation of 95 trains for December 3 and 4 in view of the safety of passengers amid the alert of cyclone Jawad.

Talking to media, East Coast Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Vishwajit Sahu said that 95 trains have been cancelled keeping in view the safety of passengers in view of cyclonic storm Jawad. Sahu said a total of 95 trains operated by East Coast Railway and passing through the area have been cancelled for December 3 and 4. Sahu said the East Coast Railway is informing people about the cancellation of cancelled trains due to cyclonic storm by social media and media institutions.

At the same time, some more trains can be cancelled if the impact of cyclone Jawad becomes more severe. These cancelled trains include Purushottam Express from Puri to New Delhi, Neelanchal Express, Nandankanan Express along with Rajdhani Express running from Bhubaneswar to Delhi up and down trains.
