Story - Dhruva's father had two wives and he loved his second wife more. Because she was more beautiful to look at. He also had a son with a second wife and he loved this son the most. At the same time, Dhruv expressed his desire to sit on his father's lap. At the same time, his step mother stopped him. At that time, when the step mother stopped, Dhruva started crying. At that time, the step mother, stopping her from sitting in the father's dock, said to the five-year-old Dhruvu, go and sit in the lap of God. After hearing the step mother's word, Dhruva went to his mother crying and started asking the mother how the mother God would meet.

After that Dhruva's mother replied that to get God, one has to go to the forest to do severe penance. Only then will you find God. Dhruv listened to his mother and insisted on going to the forest and expressed his desire to sit on the lap of God. To sit on the lap of God, Dhruva went out towards the forest and started meditating by sitting under a tree. The little Dhruva did not know any mantra. Then Narada ji reached there to help Dhruv and he gave Dhruva a Guru Mantra. Which is high Namo Bhagwate Vasudevaya Nam. Was Dhruva started chanting this mantra. So that God comes to them and they sit on God's lap. Dhruva remembered God with his mind and Lord Vishnu appeared.

After which Vishnu asked Dhruv to ask for a bride. Dhruva asked Vishnu to 'make me sit on your lap'. This desire of Dhruva was fulfilled by Vishnu and made him sit on his lap. When the people of this state came to know about this, everyone respected Dhravu and Dhruva's father placed him on his throne.
