There are many such places on earth, which remain mysterious due to their special reasons. One of the few such places is the ancient city of Herapolis in Turkey. There is an extremely old temple located in Herapolis, which people call the Gate of Hell. Far from going inside this temple, people who go around also never come back. It is said that as soon as you come to the contact of this temple, life goes from human to animal and bird.

Situated in Heropolis for many years, this place remained mysterious. Actually, people believed that due to the poisonous breaths of the Greek God, those who came here are being killed. Due to the constant deaths, people have named this temple as the 'Gate of Hell'. It has also been said that in Greek and Roman times, people were afraid to go here due to fear of death. But, scientists have solved the mystery of the death. According to scientists, poisonous carbon dioxide gas continuously comes out from under this temple and comes out of the contact, which kills humans and animals and birds.

The study conducted by scientists revealed that the cave below the temple contains a large number of carbon dioxide gas. Only ten percent carbon dioxide gas can put any person to death within thirty minutes. At the same time, the number of poisonous gases such as carbon dioxide in the cave of this temple is 91 percent. Due to the poisonous gas coming out from inside this temple, insects and animals and birds coming here are killed.
