There are many such countries in the world, which are special and unique for some reason, those countries are also known because of their different characteristics. Uganda is a country located in East Africa. This country is special in many ways and especially for Indians, because there was a time when a large population here used to be Indians, but in the year 1972, they were ordered to forcibly leave the country. However, there is still no shortage of people of Asian origin here. Today we are going to tell you many interesting things of this country, knowing that you will also be surprised.

Uganda is a landlocked country i.e. it is surrounded by land from all four sides. It is bordered by Kenya in the east, Congo in the west, Sudan in the north and Tanzania in the south. You will be surprised to know that one third of the population here live below the international poverty line. The daily income of the people here is less than two dollars i.e. 153 rupees. There is a church in Uganda, which is considered to be the smallest here and possibly the second smallest church in the world. It is so small that only three people, including the clergy, can stand here. This church, built in 1996, does not have any name, but people know it by the name of 'Church of Biku Pahari'.

By the way, almost every country has a national flower, just like India's national flower is a lotus, but you must be surprised to know that there is no national flower in Uganda. Now only Uganda can tell its reason. One of the world's most dreaded dictators, Idi Amin was also the dictator of Uganda. It is said that he used to eat meat from monkeys to humans. According to an estimate, between one lakh and five lakh people were brutally killed during his reign.
