Following the release of Season 4 Volume 2 of Stranger Things, the previous month fans have been excited to watch the final season of the series which is expected to come out next year. The finale of Season 4 ended on a cliffhanger and fans have speculated what might happen next in the final season of the series, there are also various theories going around the internet related to the series and its conclusion.

The writing team of the said series has confirmed that they are back to work on the final season of the hit tv series, they shared a tweet on August 2 which said, “Day 1”.  A photo accompanied by the tweet showed a dry-erase board with the Stranger Things logo on top of a significant number five, leaving the hopes of the fans skyrocketing, and they have been even more excited about the series ever since, waiting for its arrival. 

After the shocking Season 4 finale, there are several questions that fans have been left with including whether Sadie Sink's Max Mayfield will be coming out of the coma that Vecna sent her in. There are also hopes that Joseph Quinn's Eddie Munson may return in flashback moments. 

As for Vecna himself, Joseph Campbell Bower previously teased that he's excited to see how the connection between him and Noah Schnapp's Will Byers will show in the last season. The series will have all its lead cast members including Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo and Caleb McLaughlin returning to reprise their roles. Also, David Harbour and Winona Ryder will be back as Hopper and Joyce.
