Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer horror- comedy ‘stree’ has earned the Rs. 101.43 crore within 16 days of the release. The film critic and business analyst, Taran Adarsh Tweeted that the film Stree has entered to 100 cr club with its collection of 2.14 cr and 3.76 cr on Friday and Saturday respectively.

Actor Rajkumar Rao who is getting a lot of appreciation for his work in the film has also informed about the same through his tweeter account. He thanks the fans for all the love and also shared a 15-second video of film.

Stree is the ninth film to enter the 100 cr club Apart from Rajkumar Rao and  Shraddha Kapoor actor Pankaj Tripathi, Vijay Raj, Aparshkti Khurana and Abhishek Banerjee are also in the pivotal role. The film is directed by Amar Kaushik and music is composed by sachin-Jigar. The film is based on the interesting story set in a small town ‘Chenderi’. The people of belives in the myth of an angry woman ghost referred to as "Stree", who stalks men during Durga Puja festival. This is explained by the sudden disappearance of these men, leaving their clothes behind. In this Movie, Rajkumar has played the role of Vicky, a tailor who falls in love with a mysterious and anonymous girl.
