Patna Division Commissioner Sanjay Kumar Agarwal held a meeting with officials of various departments including DM, SSP, Municipal Commissioner, Civil Surgeon of the district last Saturday and gave necessary instructions. Let me tell you that in this, he has issued strict instructions to the officials to complete all necessary works like electricity, barricading, approach path construction, cleanliness etc.
At the same time, the Divisional has directed the officers to work in mission mode and complete all the works within two days. Let me tell all of you that the Commissioner has directed to ensure uninterrupted supply of power at all ghats by 8th November. Not only this, it has also directed to activate the Executive Engineer, Assistant Engineer, Junior Engineer of the Department of Power and ensure strong arrangements at each ghat. At the same time, it has been said that the Superintending Engineer has directed the Power to continuously and effectively monitor the power trip and not cut any ghat.
On the other hand, the Commissioner directed the civil surgeon to set up a medical team and deploy them at the ghats. Further, it has been stated that the team will have proper provision of life saving medicines and ambulances and has also directed to keep nearby hospitals open and depute doctors and staff to deal with the emergency situation. It is said that these ghats will have covid testing and vaccination. On the other hand, the Commissioner directed that proper arrangements be made for testing and vaccination of covids at ghats.
