Indore: Corona infection in Madhya Pradesh is now decreasing. Despite this, not much exemption is being given as the situation is likely to worsen. With this, it has now been decided to make the people's curfew even more stringent. In Indore, the sale of grocery, fruits and vegetables has been completely banned till May 28. These instructions were issued yesterday. As soon as the instructions were issued, the people of Indore panicked and people reached mandi at night to buy vegetables. Yesterday, there was a huge rush in the mandi and in the meantime people did not even follow social dispensing in the vegetable mandi.

The people purchased vegetables fiercely, but then the police took the lead and drove away the people reaching mandi. The district administration in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, revised the old order and now issued a new order. The order ordered closure of all grocery and grocery shops from May 21 to May 28. Not only that, fruits and vegetables will no longer be available for 10 days. In addition, all wholesale and private grocery shops in Indore district will remain closed till May 28. All haat markets in the district besides Choitharam and Niranjanpur fruit and vegetable markets will remain closed with immediate effect.

Issuing an order yesterday, Collector Manish Singh said, "The situation of corona infection in Indore is gradually improving, it has been decided to tighten the lock down to break the corona chain even though the chain supplying rations online will continue. SDM and Swasthya Amale have been directed to identify more infected areas in the areas so that advance action can be taken by declaring those areas as maintenance areas."
