London: the students who created a ruckus in a program organized on 5 October regarding abrogation of Section 370 from Kashmir at London's SOAS University, told the media that they are not members of the RSS or the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), but they are British Asians from the LGBT community who are non-Indians. During the program, they also wanted to put forth their views, but they were not allowed to do so.

On October 5, a program was organized to remove Section 370 from Kashmir at SOAS University of London. Five masked students created a ruckus in this program. This program was organized by South Asia Solidarity Group on Saturday last to protest against the decision of the Government of India on Kashmir. SOAS (School of Oriental and African Studies) is a prestigious research institute in London.

The program was presided over by Divyesh Anand, Head of School of Social Science, University of Westminster. Kavita Krishnan, politburo member of CPI Male and Dr. Nitasha Kaul of Westminster University, attended the event. The program was criticized for removing Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and the government's decision was being questioned. At the same time, some masked students reached there with banners in their hands. The leftists were called 'retrograde' in these banners.
