Today is the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, the great freedom fighter of the country. Subhas Chandra Bose was born on 23rd January 1897 in Cuttack. His father's name was Jankinath Bose and his mother's name was Impressionti Bose. Subhas Chandra had received school education from the English medium school in the year 1902. After finishing his schooling, Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose studied high school at Cuttack and a school (which was being run by Christian missionary William Banton at that time, and later the school began to be known as the Ravenshaw Collegiate School).

It is said that the school is available near the collector's office in Cuttack, which was only 3 kilometers away from the house. Even after being a little away from school, the leader's father, Jankinath Bose, kept him in the school hostel so that he could connect well with the school teacher. Inspired by the lives of many big freedom fighters to liberate the country from the British during education, Subhas Chandra Bose joined the country's freedom drive.

He had a different view from others to liberate the country from the British and formed the Azad Hind Fauj. We will always remember their role in making the country independent. Let us also tell you that today is the 125 birth anniversary of Subhas Chandra Bose and now this day will also be celebrated as Parakram Diwas. The decision has been taken by the central government.
