Varanasi: A big statement of former Union Minister Subramanian Swamy has come to light on the matter of Gyanvapi Mosque. In fact, Subramanian Swamy said in his statement that, 'Asaduddin Owaisi has read the law. He has also got a degree. When they say that surveying the Gyanvapi Masjid violates the Places of Worship Act, they mislead people. The Act has nothing to do with it. When a mosque or temple will be demolished then only this act can be mentioned. This is not illegal. Court has given direction in this matter.

Along with this, he also said that, 'Gyanvapi survey can be opposed only by going to the Supreme Court and he has gone too. When they say in the court that there has been a violation of the Places of Worship Act, then everyone will laugh in the court. I want to say that Owaisi's talk is baseless. The survey was done on the directions of the court. Mosque is only a place to offer Namaz. There is no such secret there. Anyone can come and go there.

With this, he said on the silence of PM Modi in the Gyanvapi Masjid case that, 'What will the Prime Minister say on the matter of the court? I am not saying that the PM cannot speak, but this matter is not related to his field of work. In this the court ordered. Then the survey was done and if there was no loss, what would the Prime Minister say in this? If the PM speaks, there will be a demand that the Places of Worship Act should be repealed by passing a bill in Parliament. Right now he has done the right thing by not saying anything. Along with this, he also talked about matters related to Taj Mahal, Shahi Idgah of Mathura and Qutub Minar.

He said, 'It was decided in the meeting of sages and saints that we cannot leave the three temples of Kashi, Mathura and Ayodhya because God had appeared in them directly. Ram Janmabhoomi where Lord Rama was born. Apart from this, he was not born anywhere else. Many temples were destroyed but we claim only three. My point is that whatever you want to do, go to court and do it. But what will you say even after going there?
