The author of 12 phenomenal books, a columnist, and practicing urologist Dr. Nimit Oza shares his secret of success with us. From a leading urologist to a renowned author, the man enjoying the best of both fields shares his views on success and creativity.

'The biggest threat to success is boredom and not failure.' The author believes. He tells us that, 'to achieve anything significant in life, repetition is required. Be it the medical field or art, We need to pursue that consistently over a long period. As repetition brings boredom, many of us quit and can't achieve the desired outcome. The secret of success lies in the art of handling that boredom.'

The columnist of a leading news-paper like Divya-Bhaskar adds that we always try to escape from our boredom. We always try to distract ourselves with screens or other pleasure-seeking activities. We should learn to face our boredom and get drowned in that. The doctor says, 'Boredom is not injurious to our health. Why not get ourselves immersed in it? '

The blogger, digital content creator, and influencer Dr. Oza believes that boredom is the precursor of creativity. Our mind runs amok in all directions when we are bored, and that is when the most innovative ideas are born. 'Boredom is of two types' he adds, 'micro-boredom and macro-boredom'. Micro-boredom is when we get bored of doing day-to-day activities like going to the gym, doing homework, doing household work, or any routine office work. Our brain is hard-wired to new experiences, that is why repetition brings laziness and lack of interest. Macro-boredom can be in any field where after a significant period of effort, we don't get the expected results like in relationships, projects, work promotion, etc.

It is very difficult for us to continue working on something repeatedly without any visible outcome. and that is where most of us quit the game. But that is the time when we need to hang on there the most. Dr. Nimit tells us that, 'after a long period of effort and hard work if you don't quit, gradually a point will come from where you will suddenly start noticing the results. That is the point of 'Auto-Motivation'. You will not require any motivation beyond that point because your sense of progress will propel you forward. But to reach up to that point, we all have to embrace the boredom and stay persistent in our effort.'
