Raipur: After the ruling Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of Delhi and Punjab, now the BJP has also sought the resignation of CM Bhupesh Baghel in the 2000 crore liquor scam case in Chhattisgarh. Like AAP, BJP also argues that such a big scam is not possible without the involvement of the government. Talking to the media on Friday in this matter, BJP spokesperson KK Sharma said that I have come to expose the Congress scam. Congress cannot survive without corruption.

Let us tell you that during the tenure of Bhupesh Sarkar in Chhattisgarh, a big liquor scam is being claimed. In March 2023, the ED had conducted a search operation at 35 locations and the liquor scam was revealed in the facts that came in it. ED had told that black money of Rs 2000 crore was made from the sale of illegal liquor, in which many politicians and bureaucrats are also involved. ED had told that the mastermind of this scam is Anwar Devar, who is the elder brother of Raipur's mayor Aijaz Devar.

On the basis of ED's statement, KK Sharma said that there is connivance of big bureaucrats and politicians of Chhattisgarh. Anwar has controlled the corruption of liquor. BJP spokesperson KK Sharma told that, in 2019, Anwar had called a meeting, in which liquor suppliers and officers had also reached. In this, a commission of Rs 75 to Rs 150 was demanded and instead it was said to increase the landing rate. Let us inform that, after the scam was exposed by ED, AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj had also demanded the resignation of CM Baghel making the same allegation.
