Suddenly, soil of railway underbridge caved in, 2 officers lost their lives

Sagar: A block engineer and a section engineer have lost their lives after the soil of the railway under-bridge collapsed in Sagar town of MP. While 3 people were injured. They were admitted to the Civil Hospital for treatment. Due to this accident, the Bhopal-Sagar rail route was affected for about 6 hours. 

The case pertains to the near Sumredi railway gate under Khurai Dehat police station area of the district where the construction of the under bridge was going on. At around 9:30 p.m., when a train passed through here, the mud caved in which many people were buried. On Tahrir, senior officials of the railway management arrived who carried out the rescue operation and pulled out the people buried in the mud. The injured were taken to a hospital where the doctors declared two persons were brought dead. 

According to the information received from the same Khurai SDOP Sumit Kirkitta, block engineer Sukhram Ahirwar and section engineer R S Meena have lost their lives in this case. R S Meena hails from Madhavpur, Rajasthan while Sukhram Ahirwar is a resident of Katni district. At the same time, sharing the information about this case on the social media page of Sagar district magistrate, two railway employees have been confirmed to have died and three persons were injured in this case.
