The fourth phase of lockdown, which comes into effect from the upcoming May 18, is going to be completely different from the first three phases. Most of the activities will be started in other areas except the infected areas. Public transport in the Green Zone can also be started with precautions. On Wednesday, the ministers discussed with the members of the disaster management groups of the districts and took their suggestions.

It was advised that permission should be given to open small shops. Arrangements should be made for the workers who are coming from outside the state. Home access services should be restored as per the requirement. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has instructed all the ministers to talk to the District Disaster Management Group and seek feedback. A report has also been sought from the collectors.

Home and Health Minister Dr Narottam Mishra has spoken to the representatives of Ujjain, Bhopal, Vidisha, Jhabua and Ratlam, administrative officials and district disaster management group. During this time, there has been talk of relaxing the lockdown in the public representatives by taking security measures. Minister Dr Mishra asked the officers to strictly follow the instructions of the Central Government.
