Suicide: Allegation of torture on wife and in-laws in Warangal

A youth committed suicide on Saturday at Desaipalli in Duggondi mandal of Warangal district, accusing his wife and in-laws of being final. Before committing suicide, the youth recorded the audio of his wife and her family members explaining the cause of his death. Going into details, Tuttoor Pradeep 25, of Desaipalli, has frequent conflicts with his wife and her family members and had organized several panchayats. However, the dispute did not subside and the harassment from the wife increased. 

Unable to bear their harassment, Pradeep reached Bandhampalli on 19th of this month and recorded a voice saying that his wife and her relatives were responsible for his death and sent it to his father Nagesh. Later he drank insecticide. The relatives took him to a private hospital in Hanamkonda where he was declared brought dead on Saturday during treatment. Trainee Sub-Inspector Mahendra said that the matter is being investigated as per the complaint of the deceased's father Nagesh.

Another similar case occurred in Shringavarappadu village of Kaikaluru mandal of Krishna district where a youth hanged to death, whose wife had gone to her mother's house due to disputes, did not return. A case was registered on Monday over the incident. According to a rural police report, Bale Pothuraju (35) of Shringavarappadu village was married to a young woman from Chatakai village in the same mandal 15 years ago. The couple has two children .
