After the alliance broke in the Delhi Assembly elections, there was a discussion in the political corridors that there might be a rift in Punjab as well, but Sukhbir Badal made it clear that the alliance would continue in Punjab. He said that the Akali-BJP alliance is a Punjab-based alliance.
