Delhi Schools Increase Summer Holidays, Will Now Open On This Date

New Delhi: The month of June is coming to an end, but the temperature in the capital city is not dropping. In view of the rising heat in Delhi, the government has extended children's holidays. Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia announced this through a tweet on Sunday. Manish Sisodia has posted this on his Twitter.

Manish Sisodia wrote in a tweet, "In view of the hot weather in Delhi, summer holidays are being extended for a week up to class 8 in schools. Children's schools up to 8th will now be open from 8th July. Schools for the rest of the class will be open as per their pre-determined schedule. '

Deputy CM Manish Sisodia said, the Delhi government's order will be applicable to private schools as well. The new session was scheduled to start from 1st July in Delhi, but in view of the heat and humid conditions, the Government has decided to extend the summer vacations. The summer vacations have now increased by another week till the 8th and schools will open on July 8. Entire North India is currently reeling under severe heat wave.
