The Kapil Sharma Show co-star Sumona Chakravarti was teased by actor Kiku Sharda by claiming that she was the focus of jokes in a recent clip. Sony TV shared a fresh promo for the next season of the Kapil Sharma-hosted programme on its Twitter page.
Sumona Chakravarti said, "He remembers someone else's wife, but he forgot his own wife," pointing at Kapil at the beginning of the clip. With a shocked expression on his face, Kapil said, "Whose wife is she, Kiski biwi? Double XL bachelor, that's what I am."
Sumona said to him, "Aare bandh kar apna generator," as Kiku Sharda laughed (Hey, stop your generator). "Pati patni ke beech nok-jhok chalti rehti hai," she continued. Kapil will play Kappu Sharma in the upcoming season, and Sumona will play his wife Bindu. Gudiya will be portrayed by Kiku, and Chandan Prabhakar will play Kappu's friend Chandan. Fans will also get to meet Maski, Chandan's wife, a brand-new character. Kappu's mother-in-law is Roopmati, his father-in-law is Sundarda, his brother-in-law is Goli, the neighborhood's "splendour" is Ghazal (Srishty Rode), and the "ustaadji" is Gharchoddas.
