Suniel Shetty posted a childhood photo of his son Ahan Shetty with father Veerapa Shetty. Veerapa Shetty passed away at the age of 93, last year. While posting this throwback photo on social media platform on his father's death anniversary the actor captioned " Remembering him on his death anniversary, Suniel Shetty wrote, "It’s a year today ...You will never know how much I would give up to have you back in my life! Miss you Papa."
 
Suniel's dad was not keeping well for quite some time and breathed his last at 1:30 am in the Breach Candy hospital, last year. His last rites took place at the Worli Crematorium with Suniel Shetty conducting all the rituals. 
 
In a 2013 interview to a leading daily, Suniel had fondly told that his father was his real hero. Suniel's dad started working at the age of 9 and later built his own empire as a hotelier. Other than acting, Suniel too helped dad in his business and now will be carrying forward his dad's business after his demise.
