Today is birth anniversary of famous comedy artist Jaspal Bhatti. He was born in the year 1955, was considered a comedy king in the 80s and 90s and many of his shows were released which was much liked by the fans. Along with this, Bhatti often presented the problems of the country in a funny style with the help of his comedy. Along with this, only 10 episodes of Bhatti's very popular show 'Flop Show' were released but this show is counted among the most popular shows of Jaspal Bhatti. Apart from this, he has also appeared in shows like Ulta Pulta and Nonsense Private Limited, but the flop show brought him the most popularity in his career.

Along with this, he played supporting roles in films like 'Aa Ab Laut Chalen', Koi Mere Dil Se Puche and Fana. The special thing is that the talent of actor Sunil Grover, who played Dr. Mashoor Gulati on the Kapil Sharma Show, was also recognized by Jaspal Bhatti. The problems were shown in a fun manner and the issues they focused on remain relevant even today. Along with this, he was a cartoonist in the newspaper The Tribune of Chandigarh before doing serials. He also built a training school in Chandigarh, which he named the jock factory.

During the 2009 general election, he made a spoof about Indian politics and took to the streets with it. Along with this, his party's name was Rishan Party and in this spoof, comic stars like Rajesh Puri, Johnny Lever and Rakesh Bedi were also seen with him. With this, in 2012, Jaspal Bhatti passed away a day before the release of his Punjabi film Power Cut. His last film was also a satire on corruption.
