Ramayan made under the direction of Ramanand Sagar has started on Star Plus after the success of Doordarshan. Sunil Lahiri, who played Lakshman in the show after watching its first episode, shared the old memories with the fans on social media account. While recalling those days, Sunil Lahiri told that on the first day of shooting of Ramayana, he had arrived by train to shoot and when he reached the station, a carriage came to receive him there. After this, he sat in that car and went to the shooting location.

The shooting location was made in such a deserted place where there was no one else apart from the unit of Ramayana. Sunil was surprised to see this, after this, when Sunil Lahiri arrived in the changing room to wear his character Lakshman's costume. But the costume was not fitting him at all. After this, the costume was again fitted according to his body and the shooting of Ramayana started. The first day of shooting was a bit strange for Sunil Lahiri.

But today when Sunil sees the success of Ramayana, he feels very satisfied and feels that people very much liked his hard work. The audience is appreciating his work.
