New Delhi: New Zealand cricket team captain and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain Kane Williamson has become a father in IPL 2022. On May 22, Kane Williamson posted a picture on social media informing that his partner Sara Rahim had given birth to a son. This picture is going viral on social media. Kane Williamson, who is in charge of SRH in IPL 2022, has returned home before the end of the tournament.

He returned early due to the delivery of his child, which is why Bhuvneshwar Kumar took over the command of the team in the final match of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Kane Williamson shared the picture with his Instagram family and wrote that Welcome to the Whnau Little Man. This is the second child of Kane and Sarah, before which they both have a daughter named Maggie. If we talk about Kane Williamson's IPL season, it didn't go much better for him. As a batsman and as a captain, he proved to be a complete failure. Kane Williamson scored 216 runs in 13 matches this season, during which he averaged less than 20. At the same time, the strike rate was also below 100.

If we talk about SRH, then the team performed very averagely in this IPL. In the points table, Sunrisers Hyderabad finished the season at 8th place. The team played 14 matches this year, including 6 wins and 8 defeats. The team only had 12 points and failed to reach the playoffs.
