In an official statement, the hospital said, "In view of his improved medical condition, Rajinikanth is being discharged from the hospital today. His blood pressure has been stabilized and he is feeling much better." Rajinikanth was admitted to the Apollo Hospital after suffering from severe fluctuations in blood pressure and exhaustion. Earlier today, the hospital authorities said that the actor’s health is stable and there is nothing alarming in his test reports.
He had been shooting for 'Annaatthe' in Hyderabad for the last few days. The shoot had to be halted after some crew members tested positive for corona. While the superstar tested negative, a couple of other people from the set had tested positive, after which he isolated himself and was being monitored closely.
