Mega Power Star Ram Charan was also the Chief Guest at the Rath Laying Ceremony at the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav organised by the Indian Government at Veerula Sanku Memorial in Parade Ground, Hyderabad. The event is being organized to commemorate 75 years of Indian independence and to give tributes to the brave martyrs who laid down their lives for the country. In such a situation, superstar Ram Charan has inspired 800 to 900 students, war veterans, army jawans, gallantry award winners and media professionals, who have also participated in the event with their in-depth words. The actor has asked the students to remember how army officers face harsh weather in all corners of our country so that we can live here in peace and carry out our day-to-day activities.
"I want students to always remember that the air we breathe, the path we walk, the country in which we live so proudly and peacefully, is entire because of the officers and veterans sitting here. I'm totally obsessed with the army officers. It makes me very proud to see a man or a woman in any uniform. In the 14 movies, I have worked in so far, I have played a few roles, directly or indirectly, in which I am wearing a police uniform like Dhruv, Zanjeer and the latest release RRR. I stand here today just because you all have fought for us.'' Yes, Ram Charan thanked the authorities and students for inviting him to the event that he has also become a part of such a Noble programme.
Not only this, he has ended the show by saying, "I hope I will continue to do any kind of service to this country and am going to fully support the Indian Force, the Indian Navy," and hailed everyone.'' The theme of this event is to express gratitude to the war heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation and inspire the next generation to serve the country.
