Chennai: Supporters of Jallikattu set a police station on fire

Tamil Nadu: The protest against the Jallikattu ban in the Chennai's Marina beach is increasing. Today in the afternoon, the protesters set a police station on fire. The Ice House Police station which is located near the Chennai's Marina beach was set on fire by the supporters of the bull taming sport jallikattu.

The vehicles were also set on fire. The police then came and scattered the protesters. All those who got injured were taken to the hospital for the medical treatment.

Today is the seventh day, that the citizens are protesting against the Jallikattu sport. Chief Minister of the Tamil Nadu, O. Panneerselvam has asked the people to stop their protest.
