While refusing to stay the survey of the Gyanvapi disputed structure, the top court said on Tuesday (May 17, 2022) that the trial of the matter is going on in the lower court, so it is necessary to wait for the decision of the district court. . The Supreme Court has issued notice to the Hindu petitioners and the UP government on the petition of Anjuman Intejamia Masjid challenging the order of the Varanasi District Court, seeking their response by May 19.
