On Friday, Supreme Court answered Centre’s plea question, when they asked the reason why bank is allowing withdrawal of Rs 24,000 and not more. The hearing bench head was Chief Justice T S Thakur who was unhappy with the shouting of some lawyers.

Justices A M Khanwilkar and D Y Chandrachud, said the primary concern government as for now is to eradicate the problem of people they are facing in demonetisation time.

Attorney Mukul Rohatgi said "Every day new petitions are being filed in the Supreme Court and in High Courts. The High Courts are adjourning the case for one day or two days... law officers are being asked to appear," 

The bench will take further decision in centre's plea on 14 December.
