A bench of Justice Deepak Mishra and Justice Anirudh Bose said on Tuesday that it is the government's job to make guidelines or rules and not the Supreme Court or the High Court. The bench said that the privacy of the people, as well as the sovereignty of the country, should be taken into account in making guidelines. The bench said that only after the government formulates a policy in this regard, the court can consider whether it is in accordance with the law and the constitution.
