New Delhi: The Supreme Court has asked the parties to find an acceptable solution in the Sant Ravidas Temple case of the national capital Delhi. The court said that we respect the sentiments of everyone, but must follow the law, the temple cannot be built again in the same place. The Supreme Court has asked all the parties to discuss the selection of a better location for the construction of the Ravidas temple.

The court has said that if the parties bring a unanimous resolution, the order will be passed. It is noteworthy that a petition has been filed in the apex court demanding the construction of a temple in the forest area. The Guru Ravidas temple was demolished on the orders of the apex court. On August 9, the Supreme Court had directed the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) to demolish the temple structure, taking action on which the DDA demolished the temple on August 10.

After this, the devotees of Sant Ravidas started opposing this action and also organized many movements. The Supreme Court has warned that if any temple is politicized or demonstrated to be demolished, then a contempt case will be filed against it. This legal battle has become difficult for the devotees of the Guru Ravidas temple following the strict approach of the apex court.
