Plea field seeking re-election of Lok Sabha elections, SC denies for urgent hearing

New Delhi: Supreme Court has refused an early hearing on a plea challenging the validity of Lok Sabha elections and assembly elections. The plea was filed by the Apex Court's counsel Manohar Lal Sharma. In the plea, Manohar Lal Sharma had demanded that the Lok Sabha elections should be held from 2019 back.

He also called for the recent Lok Sabha polls to be declared illegal, terming the use of EVMS as unlawful in his plea. The apex court on the plea has asked the petitioner to go to the registrar. The petitioner said that this is a big issue, hence his plea may be heard soon. But the court has refused an early hearing.

The petition filed in the court sought to hold the election back from the ballot paper. Let me tell you that the lawyer, MLK, has filed a penalty on which the Supreme Court has repeatedly imposed fines on filing of useless pils. Let me tell you that in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BJP has won 303 seats, from which the opposition has been dwarded and is seeking to hold back elections.
