New Delhi: The Supreme Court has refused to interfere in the investigation against online shopping companies Amazon and Flipkart, though the apex court has extended the time for both companies to join the probe by four weeks. The Competition Commission is investigating the alleged violation of competition laws against e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart.

The apex court has granted 4 weeks' time to these companies to cooperate in the investigation. A bench of CJI NV Ramana said that we will not interfere in the high court order at the moment. This case should be investigated. In fact, e-commerce giants Amazon and Flipkart have moved the apex court against the competition commission of India (CCI) probe. The company has challenged the Karnataka High Court's verdict and sought a stay on the Competition Commission of India's probe.
