A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court for the closure of liquor shops. Dismissing this petition, the Supreme Court has refused to hear. In fact, the petition says that rules like physical distance and other norms are not being followed in shops.

The Home Ministry had given permission to open liquor shops from May 4 during lockdown 3.0. However, the Ministry of Home Affairs had said that liquor shops will not be opened in the Containment Zone, ie, the area where corona infects are high. Apart from this, liquor shops will be opened in all three zones Red, Orange and Green. Also told to follow the rules of physical distances. While drinking and drinking alcohol, gutkha, tobacco etc. were not allowed in public places.

The shopkeepers must ensure that there is at least six feet or two yards between the customers. The shop should not have more than five people at a time. The number of corona infected is increasing continuously in the country. According to the data released by the Ministry of Health, at present 81,969 people have been infected in the country. Out of total cases, 27919 people have been cured. There are 51,401 active cases in the country. So far 2,649 people have lost their lives due to illness. Significantly, many big countries including India, America, China, Russia, Israel, are engaged in making the coronavirus vaccine. Israel claimed to have developed antibodies to the virus from them.
