New Delhi: The apex court has flatly refused to hear a petition filed in the Supreme Court against the removal of encroachments from Delhi's Shaheen Bagh. On Monday, the top court also asked why political parties had approached the court in place of the victims in the case. During the hearing, the court said it has not stayed the ongoing operations against encroachments across the country. At the same time, the case in Shaheen Bagh is not related to residential houses, but to the eviction of the road. After this, the Communist Party of India Marxist (CPIM) party also withdrew its petition.

Let us know that the CPIM had filed a petition in the top court to stop the action that the MCD is taking against the illegal construction of South Delhi. The Supreme Court heard the action to remove encroachments in south MCD this afternoon. The court questioned why the CPIM party was filing a petition in the matter. The court said that if any of the aggrieved parties come to us, it is understandable. Is there no victim?  To this, senior advocate P Surendranath said that a petition is also of the Rehriwalas' Association. Further, Justice Rao said that you should have gone to the High Court.

At the same time, it was also said that if the street vendors are also breaking the rules, then they will also be removed. The court further said that in Jahangirpuri, we intervened because the buildings were being demolished. The railroaders sell goods on the road. If shops are being damaged, they should have come to court. Why didn't the railroads come?
