New Delhi: The Madras High Court had recently slammed the Election Commission for its broken guidelines at election meetings during corona maahamari, as well as comments on murder charges against officials. The Election Commission has moved the Supreme court against the same, which was heard in the Supreme Court on Monday.

In the Supreme court, the Election Commission has said that the media should not report to the court what kind of arguments take place. No case should be registered just on the basis of the court's comments. Justice D.Y. A bench headed by Chandrachud heard the matter. Justice Chandrachud said during the hearing that we cannot stop the media from reporting anything, the more important the court order is, the more important the debate is.

The Supreme Court said the debate in the court is a discussion between the bench and the bar, the media monitors the process. The court immediately rejected the election commission's demand with these strong comments. At the same time, Justice Chandrachud said that "We do not want to demoralize the High Court, they are an important part of democracy".
