The Supreme Court of India has rejected Jairam Ramesh's plea seeking government ration to the needy. The court asked Jayaram to give a memorandum to the government. The court has also said that people should first go to the government, then come to the court.

Jayaram filed a petition in the Supreme Court, asking for the order to provide ration on the ration card anywhere under the Food Security Act, stating the problem of migrant laborers. He said that a large number of people are in poor financial condition. There is a huge shortage of food during the nationwide lockdown, in such a situation, free ration should be given to the needy.

For your information, let us tell you that the Supreme Court has also rejected the petition of Trinamool Congress MP Mahua Moitra, in which he also asked for permission to accept the donation of CSR funds of companies to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.
