Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, head of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Nyas, says that there is no doubt about the birthplace of Lord Shri Ram. No proof is required for Ram. The beauty and existence of Ayodhya is from Lord Shri Ram. If someone gives proof that Ram was born somewhere else, then tell it. Today, where Shri Rama sits, that is his real birthplace. To say something on it would be foolishness and ignorance.
