Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, law minister Moloy Ghatak has not received any relief from the apex court in the Narada sting case. On a petition filed by Mamata Banerjee, the Supreme Court has asked her to go back before the High Court, the court has appealed to the High Court to consider Mamata Banerjee's petitions.

In fact, four Trinamool Congress (TMC) leaders were arrested in the Narada sting case. Mamata Banerjee had then reached the CBI office and was made a party to the case. The Kolkata High Court had later stayed Mamata Banerjee's decision to file an affidavit, which Mamata had moved the apex court. Now the Supreme Court has stayed the high court's decision. Now the Supreme Court in its order has asked the petitioners to apply to the High Court by Monday, June 28, copying it in advance to CBI by June 27.

The petition filed by Mamata Banerjee, Moloy Ghatak, appealed that CBI had levelled allegations against her, but she was not being allowed to defend herself in the High Court. On the other hand, the CBI argued that the affidavit was given after the arguments on both sides were over, while the notice had been served long ago.
