New Delhi: The Supreme Court today is all set to hear the plea related to Air pollution matter which is filed by the Environmentalist M.C Mehta. The court earlier on 17 January had warned that the problem of Air pollution is serious and a solution of it is important on an urgent basis.
Advocate Harish Salve had said there was a need to ensure 100 percent compliance of Pollution under certificate (PUC) and linking them with the insuraance of vehicles.
The judges then asked General Ranjit Kumar, who was appearing for the Centre, to specify the number of PUC centres in Delhi.
