New Delhi: After the removal of Section 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, the top court ordered the Juvenile Justice Panel of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court to submit a report in a week on the allegations of detaining minors. Along with this, the top court has said that the claim of not being able to contact the people of Jammu and Kashmir High Court is wrong. The apex court further said that it would hear a petition to take up the matter of alleged detention of children in Kashmir as it was an important issue related to minors.

The top court has said that we have received the report of the Chief Justice of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court. The report said that the allegation that people could not approach the High Court is wrong. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said that we have also received contradictory reports.

Because there is a charge of keeping children captive. Therefore, we order the Juvenile Justice Panel of the High Court to investigate these allegations and submit its report to the court in 1 week. The petitioner said that a boy has been kept in custody without any fault.
