At the same time, the petition filed in the Supreme Court has also demanded a high-level judicial inquiry into the matter under the supervision of the Supreme Court and the inclusion of CBI.

Protesting against two-time MP from Lakhimpur Kheri and Union Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra 'Teni' had triggered violence after clashes between farmers and BJP workers, in which eight people died.
