The Cauvery water dispute involving the tussle between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states today will be heard by the Supreme Court.
On July 11 the court had commenced a final hearing on the appeals filed by Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Kerala against the 2007 Cauvery Water Disputes Tribunal (CWDT) final award.
The Karnataka Government was earlier directed by the court to provide 200 cusecs of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu till its further order.
