Ahmedabad: The top court is scheduled to hear today the Congress' plea on the Rajya Sabha elections in Gujarat. The court had earlier issued a notice to the Election Commission on June 19 seeking a reply. In its reply filed in the apex court, the Election Commission has said that since 1957, the Commission has been conducting separate elections in two separate Rajya Sabha seats and the Delhi High Court and the Bombay High Court have also taken decisions over the years in which different elections have been held in different seats. It was upheld.
