New Delhi: The Supreme Court is scheduled to hear on March 25 in Haryana and Delhi water dispute case. Here, the water crisis is constantly deepening in Delhi. Due to the scarcity of water in the Yamuna, they are not able to work at full capacity due to a lack of access to adequate water treatment plants. Therefore, drinking water is also getting scarce in many areas.

The Delhi Jal Board today demanded an early hearing on this petition in the Supreme court On this, the court soon agreed to hear and has set the date of 25 March. Actually, Delhi Jal Board, has filed a petition in the apex court demanding the release of sufficient water. The Water Board has alleged in the petition that pollution is spreading in the Yamuna from Haryana itself, which is not being monitored and controlled by the state government, so the court should order the Haryana government not to spread pollution in the Yamuna. Also, monitor and control pollution levels.

According to the Delhi Jal Board in the petition, Delhi is facing a water crisis due to a high level of ammonia in the Yamuna and continuously decreasing water level in the Wazirabad barrage. Explain that the Wazirabad barrage supplies water to DJB's Wazirabad, Okhla, and Chandrawal water treatment plants.
